Nachtrag #spreadlovenothate

Wir hatten in einem Beitrag von gestern darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir Angst um Rassismus und Anti-Semitismus auf einer Trierer Drum´n´Bass Veranstaltung haben.

Die betreffende Veranstaltung wurde nach einem Gespräch zwischen Exhaus und den Veranstaltern nun abgesagt.

Danke an den positiven Zuspruch von all den Menschen, die verstanden haben, worum es hier eigentlich geht und was auf dem Spiel steht, wenn menschenfeindliches Gedankengut verbreitet wird.

Die Diskussion um unseren Text hat uns aber auch schockiert. Im Kern hat er drei Aussagen: 1) Da ist ein DJ, der explizit „sicher kein strammer Nazi“ ist. 2) Der aber sehr fragwürdigen Inhalt mit diskriminierenden Aussagen teilt und auch solche Äußerungen von sich gibt. 3) Die Veranstalter hatten auf Hinweise dazu mit offenem Desinteresse reagiert. Der Text enthält keine Beschimpfungen,
Boykottaufrufe o.ä., sondern stellt nüchtern die Sachlage dar, wie sie sich online präsentiert.

Natürlich ist der Mensch dahinter sehr vielfältiger. Trotzdem muss jeder im Netz wachsam sein, welche Aussagen man unterstützt. Leider gibt es im Netz heute viele Seiten, die es darauf anlegen, dass sich jemand in Verschwörungstheorien verrennt, die z. B. andere Menschen diskriminieren.

Wir hatten Screenshots mit Belegen absichtlich nicht veröffentlicht, sondern an die Veranstalter geschickt, trotzdem haben sie leider am Freitag ihr Statement veröffentlicht, unseren Aussagen sei kein Glauben zu schenken und eine Hetzkampagne. Das war unfair und hat die Klärung der Sache leider erschwert.

Wir denken nicht an „Feinde“ und „Konkurrenz“, wenn sich jemand Neues für Drum´n´Bass interessiert. Daher sind wir offen und kooperativ gewesen, wie schon in all den Jahren zuvor. Das werden wir auch weiterhin tun. Und wir hoffen, mit euch allen in Trier gemeinsam eine diskrimierungsfreie Clubkultur zu pflegen.
